BANK HOLIDAY BUZZ AT RIPON ARTISAN MARKET WITH LITTLE BIRD MADE

This Bank Holiday, Little Bird Made is gearing up for a five market weekend, with two fabulous artisan markets in Ripon on Sunday, 25 May and Monday 26 May from 10am to 3pm daily. Artisans of all kinds, from handcrafted jewellery, woodwork, art and photography and fantastic creations of cakes and bakes will be landing in the marketplace over two days.
Summer is fast around the corner and what better way to spend the bank holiday weekend than browsing a whole host of Yorkshire based artisans, giving the local community and visitors to the City of Ripon the opportunity to purchase these unique goods. Once you’ve shopped and tried and tested the street foods, why not take a walk around the local high street or take a browse in The Arcade with a variety of independent shops. And if you’re looking for the ideal tourist locations after the market you can always visit the beautiful and historic Ripon Cathedral in the heart of the City or take a walk around Ripon Spa Gardens, a beautiful floral park featuring wood carvings honoring Ripon’s role in the famous novel by Lewis Carroll, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, often referred to simply as Wonderland!
Jackie Crozier, owner and founder of Little Bird Markets has this to say on a double market in her hometown of Ripon this Bank Holiday, ‘’Summer is definitely in the air, and this bank holiday double market will not disappoint the local community and tourists to the area. We love the support our events are given in each of our host towns each week, and Ripon is no exception, it has an extra special place in our hearts as we started our events right here in 2018 and it is the headquarters for Little Bird. Visitors to our markets will not be disappointed in the selection of artisans this bank holiday weekend. So get everyone together including the dog and come browse, support and shop our markets.’’
