COOL DRINKS, WARM WELCOME: SUPPORT INDEPENDENT MAKERS AT EASINGWOLD AND ACOMB ARTISAN MARKETS THIS WEEKEND
As North Yorkshire prepares for a weekend of sizzling summer weather, the popular Little Bird Artisan Markets are returning to Easingwold and Front Street, Acomb this Saturday, 18 July,inviting locals and visitors alike to escape the midday sun, browse incredible local makers, and stay cool with a range of icy refreshments.
The outdoor markets will transform Easingwold’s historic Market Square from 9am and Acomb’s bustling Front Street from 10am into the ultimate summer community hubs. The artisan markets will showcase an array of independent businesses offering everything from artisan summer food and drinks to handcrafted goods, clothing and home decor. To help shoppers beat the heatwave, artisan baristas will be stocking up on plenty of ice, serving iced coffee, chilled cold brews and refreshing fruit infusions to keep you cool as you browse.
Jackie Crozier, Managing Director of Little Bird Made, said “We love our summer markets, and while it’s definitely going to be a hot one this weekend, we’ve got everything in place to keep everyone cool and comfortable, from iced drinks to fantastic high streets with small independent coffee shops where you can relax in the shade once you have browsed the stalls.It’s the perfect excuse to support your local independent businesses, and enjoy the sunshine with the whole family.”
Ben Johnson, owner of Bejojo Art, said, “As an independent artist, artisan markets are a wonderful opportunity to meet people face to face and share the stories behind my work. It is always rewarding to see someone connect with my art, and I am really looking forward to beingpart of the Acomb Artisan Market for the very first time.”

A lovely location in Easingwold Market Square with some gorgeous stalls offering a wonderful selection of handmade crafts. Visitors are encouraged to come down early and beat the peak afternoon temperatures, and explore the unique stalls. In addition to the market, visitors are encouraged to visit the fantastic independent cafes, pubs, and shops that make Easingwold and Acomb such vibrant places to visit.
