FLYING HIGH INTO 2024

littlebird made • January 29, 2024

What a way to start the year for Little Bird Made. This week sees the first markets of the year taking place in Knaresborough and Harrogate and also celebrating the amazing news that Little Bird is a Finalist in two categories in The Stray Ferret Business Awards.

There was a wealth of amazing entries which reflects the strength and talent in the business community in sectors ranging from hospitality, retail, business, to the young stars of the future throughout the area. Little Bird Made has been recognised as a finalist in Business of the Year and Managing Director Jackie Crozier in Dynamic Leader categories. This is a testament to the growth and hard work that Jackie and team have put in over the past few years to grow Little Bird from its first market in Ripon, just over 5years ago, to the successful business it is now. In 2023 they held 108 markets in 15 different locations across the Yorkshire area, including development of 8 monthly markets. They also have big plan for 2024 starting with holding weekly markets to not one, but two large events in partnership with Harewood House, with lots more to come.

This weekend traders and staff are looking forward to bringing the markets back to the communities they love. Knaresborough and Harrogate are 2 of the bigger markets with lots of products for everyone. Including our tasty street food vendors to keep everyone supplied with hot drinks and snacks throughout the day. All markets are a great day out for all the family and as outdoors are all dog friendly. Most markets even have pet stalls to treat your furry friends.

So come along on Saturday or Sunday and our traders will be waiting with a big smile and lots of new products. You will find us at:

Saturday 3 rd February, 10am – 3pm, Castle Grounds, Knaresborough HG5 8AS

Sunday 4 th February, 10am – 3pm, Valley Gardens, Harrogate HG1 2SZ

The first event at Harewood House is taking place from 8 th – 10 th of March, 10am – 4pm each day. It will be a great opportunity to shop for the special females in your life for Mother’s Day, or why not treat them to a day out and bring them along. Pre booked tickets are just £5, with free entry for Harewood members and include entry to explore all Harewood has to offer, including 150 acres of grounds, Terraced, Himalayan & Walled Gardens, Adventure Playground and 3-mile walking trail for all those looking to stretch their legs.
