A spectacular double header of independent shopping is coming to Knaresborough and Harrogate this weekend, as the popular event organiser Little Bird Made prepares to host a two day artisan market weekend. The weekend starts on Saturday, 6 June at the historic Knaresborough Castle, followed by a visit to Harrogate Valley Gardens on Sunday, 7 June. Both artisan markets will run from 10am to 3pm, offering a day out for all the family.

Known for championing the region’s best small businesses, Little Bird Made will bring together a highly curated line up of Yorkshire’s finest makers, creators, and producers. Visitors can browse an eclectic mix of hand-crafted jewellery, original artwork, organic skincare, gorgeous home decor and stunning ranges of clothing including childrenswear and adults. We have an incredible lineup of talented traders joining us across both days. Whether you are enjoying panoramic views from the Castle grounds or strolling through the floral displays at Valley Gardens, it’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy some open-air retails therapy and directly support independent businesses.”

Janine Calvert, owner of small business Beau Pens said, “Beau Pens loves trading at the stunning Knaresborough Castle with the fabulous Little Bird Markets. It has the best views in Yorkshire and we have lots of beautiful customers who come along to support us and other artisans. Anne Barningham, owner of small business, Barney’s Farmhouse Foods said, “We are looking forward to Harrogate Valley Gardens with Little Bird Made this weekend. It is one of our best markets, it is our hometown, and we really do love being in this beautiful setting and meeting our customers, regular and new.
