FROM HANDCRAFTED ART TO ARTISAN EATS: LITTLE BIRD MADE LAND IN WETHERBY THIS SUNDAY

The picturesque market town of Wetherby will be showcasing vibrant artisan traders and local creativity as the Little Bird Made Artisan Market returns to the town this Sunday, 10 May from 10am.

Taking place on the marketplace located next to the Town Hall, bringing together a curated collection of Yorkshire’s finest independent makers, bakers, creators and independent producers. Visitors can expect a diverse range of high quality goods from handcrafted jewellery, adult clothing and accessories, locally sourced jams and chutneys, handcrafted bakes and artisanal craft beers and spirits. If you’re looking to freshen up your home, why not browse original art and gorgeous homeware to brighten up your living space.

“We are delighted to be back in the heart of Wetherby,” says Jackie Crozier, Managing Director of Little Bird Made. “Our markets are designed to be more than just a shopping trip, they are a community event. We encourage everyone to come down, meet the people behind the products, and then enjoy a stroll along the River Wharfe taking in the beautiful views this Yorkshire town has to offer.”

Sally Coombes, owner of small fashion business, Rosie Flo’s says, “Oh the wonderful Wetherby, what can I say. Lovely customers that always come to visit the market whatever the weather and are always keen to support myself and other traders. A particularly beautiful town centre with the town hall at the centre. I love when we have live music, whether a choir, a brass band or solo singers, and of course not forgetting the delicious food that is always on offer. I always feel really lucky to have regular customers here in Wetherby who love our fashion and of course the bamboo socks.”

Mino Fourket, owner of Alamino’s, says, “We're thrilled to bring Alamino's to the upcoming Little Bird Made Artisan market in Wetherby. It feels special to serve our hot grilled  to the local community and beyond, and be part of such events that are built around bringing people and small business owners together.”The artisan market is family friendly and dog friendly providing a perfect Sunday outing for locals and visitors alike.
