LITTLE BIRD MADE BRINGING SUMMER CHARM AND ARTISAN DELIGHTS TO LEEDS CITY SQUARE
This Saturday, 28 June, City Square, the vibrant heart of Leeds and the unofficial capital of Yorkshire, is set to transform into a bustling hive of activity as Little Bird Made and their artisans set up for their second visit of 2025 alongside Thor’s Tipi, as they welcome residents and visitors of this beautiful city to enjoy a day full of shopping, sunshine and laughter from 11am.
Summer has finally landed and as the days get longer, and Leeds basks in the summer sun, City Square will host 30 phenomenal artisans who will be showcasing their craftsmanship this weekend. From bespoke jewellery, handcrafted homeware, stunning treats from cookies and street food, as well as gorgeous pet accessories and artisanal beverages, these talented local makers will showcase the very best of Yorkshire’s creative community.
‘’We are absolutely thrilled to be returning to City Square with 30 talented artisan traders on Saturday’’ says Jackie Crozier, owner, founder and managing director of Little Bird Made. She continues, ‘’Leeds is a truly beautiful City, and provides the perfect opportunity for visitors to relax, connect and discover the incredible talent of our artisan community. The perfect backdrop to experience the very best of Yorkshire right here in the city centre.’’
Haley Malton, owner of the exquisite small artisan business, We sell Sea shells, says, ‘’We always have sustainability on our minds here at We sell Sea shells and reusing is always at the forefront of my mind. I collect my shells from Whitby fishmongers and restaurants so they don't get thrown away and we, then turn them into a little piece of beautiful art, each one totally unique. I've been with Little Bird Markets for just over two years and they've become my little work family and I've made some very real friends. I always look forward to trading in Leeds. It's always busy with a real buzzing atmosphere, I love it!’’
