LITTLE BIRD MADE BRINGS ARTISAN CRAFT AND LOCAL FLAVOURS TO EASINGWOLD AND ACOMB

With September officially here, a crisp change in the seasons is in the air. As the changing colour of the leaves begins to transform the local landscape, communities across North Yorkshire are invited to embrace the autumn atmosphere on Saturday, 12 September with two fantastic, family and dog friendly outdoor artisan markets.

Whether you’re looking to explore a historic, picturesque market town or indulge in local street food, both artisan markets offer the perfect weekend outing for visitors of all ages, and their four legged friends.

Nestled in the heart of North Yorkshire’s most charming market towns, the Easingwold Artisan Market is the ultimate destination to slow down and savour the new season. From 9am to 2pm, visitors can browse a rich selection of artisanal treats, handcrafted goods, unique gifts, and fresh local produce from independent makers and creators. After discovering handmade treasures, take the time to grab a hot coffee in one of Easingwold’s welcoming local coffee shops and relax as you admire the historic and vibrant market place.

Over on Front Street, Acomb, the monthly Flourish and Feast market brings a lively, flavourful energy from 10am. Designed for the foodies, the Flourish and Feast market focuses on delicious street eats, offering freshly cooked food, alongside fresh handcrafted cakes and bakes, to eat on the go or to take home. Alongside the food stalls, visitors and locals to the market will find a range of refreshing alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, speciality pet treats for your dogs, and a bustling community atmosphere.

Jackie Crozier, Managing Director of Little Bird Made said, As we move into autumn, our September markets are all about celebrating the change of season, showcasing incredible local Yorkshire talent, and bringing the community together. Whether you’re hunting for unique handcrafted goods in Easingwold or enjoying delicious local food, drink and treats in Acomb, it’s a fantastic weekend out for the whole family. By bringing these artisan traders to the high street, we’re driving footfall that directly supports local independent businesses and the surrounding community.”

Alison Jackson, owner of Little Jackson Makes, said “This is my third year trading at the Easingwold Artisan Market and I always love attending the market here. The marketplace is such a special place and there’s always lots of support from the local community. It’s a really lovely day out!”

Oscar Chu, owner of Boar Bite, said, “We’re really happy to be back in Acomb with Little Bird Made! We’ve been trading here for around a year now and are excited to bring some Asian street food to the area. A big thank you to the Little Bird team for having us and for their continued support. We can’t wait to see you all on Saturday.”
