LOCAL TALENT SHINES WITH LITTLE BIRD MADES ACOMB ARTISAN MARKET
Little Bird Made, will once again showcase exceptional, local talent on Saturday, 19 July as they return to Front Street Acomb with their artisan traders from 10am. Promising a celebration of creativity and community as these North Yorkshire artisans showcase an array of handcrafted goods, unique gifts and scrumptious treats.
Visitors can expect an impressive line of independent traders, each bringing their passion and skill to create truly one of a kind items from delicate and intricate jewellery, ceramics and homeware, beautiful artwork to brighten up your home. The artisan market is the perfect place to discover something special.
‘’We are absolutely thrilled to be heading back to Front Street Acomb with our artisans,’’ says Jackie Crozier, founder and managing director of Little Bird Made.
‘’The support from the Acomb community and visitors to the area has and is incredible, and we love providing a platform for these talented small businesses to connect directly with their customers. Each market is carefully curated to ensure a wide range of high quality products, and this weekend will be no exception.’’
Tim Gomersall, who will be there with his small business, Tim Gomersall Art and Illustrations, has this to say on trading at Acomb, ‘’York is full of inspiration for artists, and I base a lot of my work on those ancient cobbles and ramshackle streets. So, the outlying town of Acomb is a natural place to take my work. I really enjoy the market here, it’s got a nice relaxed feel, and you can always find something a bit special from the other traders.’’
Little Bird Made also launched the new Acomb Flourish & Feast food market last weekend, further cementing Acomb as a hub for local produce and culinary delights. This new market, which takes place on the second Saturday of the month, complements the existing artisan market, providing even more reason to explore this stunning North Yorkshire destination.
