Little Bird Artisan Markets preparing for busy month of Christmas events

Little Bird Made staff and traders are gearing up for their busiest month of the year. They will be delivering ten markets over the next three weekends across the North Yorkshire area.

Little Bird Made, Director Jackie Crozier said, “We are looking forward to the month ahead and can’t wait to bring our Festive Markets to the variety of venues across the area. This weekend will see over 100 traders setting up each day at our markets in Harrogate and Boroughbridge/Ripon. We are encouraging everyone to come along and visit us, the markets are all outdoors and will be a great day out for the whole family. This is one of our busiest times of the year, I’m sure by the time we get to Christmas, both staff and traders will be needing some well-earned time off to relax and recuperate, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.”

There will be lots of festive cheer and opportunities to purchase unique Christmas gifts and stock up on locally produced food and drink for the holiday period. The markets really will have everything you could need for Christmas from decorations for your home or tree, gifts for all ages and tastes from candles, skin & body care, art, crafts clothing through to lots of delicious sweet treats and Jewellery. Stalls will be decorated with lots of lights and traders with their Christmas hats and jumpers, food vendors will also have festive themed food and drinks to keep you fed and warm while you browse the stalls.

There will also be entertainment throughout the weekend from Little Bird regular Maggie Wakeling. She will be joined in Harrogate with Singing Mums choir, they are a fun, friendly pop choir which allows ladies to socialise, harmonise and unwind, and uses fantastic songs in a way that is accessible to all. Also on Sunday, Ripon Charity Pantomime Group will be attending, dressed in costumes from their up coming panto Rapunzel, great chance for the kids to come along and meet the characters.

Little Bird is delighted to working with a variety of partners and local Councils, over the coming weeks to deliver these events. This weekend they will be working with Harrogate Borough Council for the markets in Valley Gardens on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday they will also be working with Langthorpe Farm Shop in Boroughbridge, the farm shop will also be open throughout the day for food and drinks. On Sunday Little Bird will be working in partnership with Ripon City Council as part of their community events and there will also be children’s rides to keep them entertained.
