Little Bird Artisan Markets are expanding even further and are excited to announce their latest development to support the young artisans of the future. They are looking for the young makers, bakers, photographers, designers and producers to come and join their ever-growing army of traders and benefit from the skills and experience of people already in the trade.
Little, Little Bird will be an opportunity for young entrepreneurs to showcase their products and build their businesses. It is open to young people aged 14 – 21 years old, who live in the Yorkshire area. Along with the opportunity to trade at well-established artisan markets, participants will also receive 12months mentoring support from an experienced Little Bird Trader.
They will be launching Little, Little Bird at their Harrogate and Wetherby markets in November. There will be 15 stalls at each event, and it will be on a first come basis, so please don’t delay and contact Little Bird for more information.
Little Bird Director Jackie Crozier has a lot of experience in setting up her own business and is looking to build an environment where young entrepreneurs can thrive and learn the trade, while realising there is more than just turning up each month and selling. Also, to build Little Bird traders of the future and carry on the tradition of artisan markets. Jackie said, “It is important to support young people as they will be our future traders, and what better opportunity than to use the knowledge and skills of our experienced traders to offer them advice and inside tips on how to build a successful business. Little Bird markets are well known in the area and have a lot of support from our communities who regularly come out to support our markets”.
