Little Bird is getting ready for a double market this Sunday in North Yorkshire in both Richmond and Thirsk. Double markets mean double the shopping opportunities and double the fun to be had for both customers and traders.

It also means double the number of traders coming along to showcase their unique products. Sunday will see the following traders setting up their stalls in one of the locations The Georgie Banger Company who are well known for their range of gourmet sausages, to take home for Sunday dinner, Turning Toys with their handmade traditional wooden toys, which are all individual and not mass produced, Beber Leather who are based in Richmond and will be displaying their range of leather bags and accessories. They will also be joined by Handmade By Ell who specialises in jewellery and resin products such as coaster, bookmarks, and lots more, Oscar & Clarke with their candles and wax melts to fragrance your home, and the wonderful A & R Menu who will be cooking up a menu of food for breakfast and lunch to keep you fuelled up as you browse all the stalls.

Both towns are traditional market towns and boast several shops and tourist attractions to make a great day out for all the family. Richmond has its stunning Castle, Friary Gardens, and Castle walk which gives views of both the river and surrounding countryside and also the Falls, which are all within a short walk from theMarket Place. In Thirsk, which was home to renowned vet James Herriot, with its own James Herriot Museum and the 15th Century St Mary’s Church, if you have time to spare you can follow the Blue Plaque Trail, which marks 20 places of interest around the town.
