Team Little Bird are gearing up for a busy weekend, with double markets in Darlington and Ripon this Sunday, following adventurous members of #TeamLittleBird who are undertaking a Charity Skydive on Friday and the launch of their new market in Leyburn on Saturday.
Little Bird Made is managed by local woman Jackie Crozier, who is nominated for Business Woman of the Year in the Yorkshire Choice Awards and is standing for election in the upcoming Ripon Council elections for Spa Ward. Not one to take things easy or shy away from a challenge, Jackie will be leading the team in the Charity Skydive, before delivering a full weekend of markets.
She said, “We really do like to keep busy and are excited for our busy weekend ahead and to bring our markets to the local communities. All the team will be working hard to deliver the markets and make sure our customers old and new will have a great shopping experience and the chance to purchase high-quality goods made here in Yorkshire. Setting up the market in my hometown of Ripon each month is a privilege and I love seeing the community come out to support the traders”.
The monthly markets bring some of Yorkshire's finest businesses to the area and attracted a wide crowd of visitors. There are not just stalls selling goods but live entertainment and street food vendors to keep customers fed and entertained as they browse the stalls.
Some of the traders attending this weekend are Top Dog Treats, with tempting treats for your four-legged friends. Kirksyde Melts & More with lots of wax melts & burners to fragrance your home and bath products to pamper yourself. North East Captures with prints, cards, coasters, and calendars with stunning images from the surrounding areas and A&A crafts with their personalised crafts for your home and garden.
