Summer is here and this weekend, Ripon marketplace is set to host the popular Ripon artisan market, curated by local Ripon based, Little Bird Markets, on Sunday, 22 June from 10am. Bringing together an array of talented local makers, crafters, bakers, producers and artists, giving local residents and visitors to this beautiful City the opportunity to purchase locally produced arts, crafts, food and drink. 

Summer has finally arrived, and it’s time to enjoy the sunshine the UK weather has given us. If you’re tidying up the garden, or looking to get your home ready to host friends and family for barbecues or summer fun in the garden, then the Ripon artisan market is where you need to visit. So why not pop down to Little Bird Artisan Market and stock up on garden accessories or some beautiful artisanal drinks to keep you refreshed in the warmer weather. 

Jackie Crozier, managing director of Little Bird Made says, ‘’We are always excited to return to Ripon, our wonderful home city each month. It is where we began and the support we receive from both the local community and visitors is truly amazing, allowing us and our incredible artisan traders to continue to pursue our passions.

Lita Krumina, owner of independent small business Smitten with Flowers says, ‘’We started growing flowers back in 2020 and are passionate about locally grown sustainable flowers which, contrary to imported flowers, have minimal negative impact on the environment, CO2 emissions and the like. We have been a part of the Little Bird family since our first market in November 2023 and we love coming to the markets each month. We absolutely enjoy chatting all things flowers with our customers, who can be just as passionate as us!’’
