SUPPORTING YORKSHIRE’S INDEPENDENT BUSINESSES: LITTLE BIRD MADE HEADS TO WETHERBY THIS SUNDAY

Popular artisan market organiser, Little Bird Made are returning to Wetherby on Sunday, 13 September, bringing a curated outdoor shopping experience to the heart of the historic market town.

Taking place around Wetherby Town Hall, from 10am to 3pm, the market features small-batch, independent traders from across Yorkshire and the surrounding region. Visitors can expect a diverse mix of handcrafted goods, including bespoke jewellery, home decor, original art and photography, seasonal flowers, and artisanal food and drink.

As the region transitions from the summer into glorious autumn days, the September market offers locals and visitors an opportunity to shop directly from local makers while supporting the town’s high street.

Jackie Crozier, Managing Director and Founder of Little Bird Made, said:

“Our markets are about far more than just shopping. They are a celebration of community, creativity, and the extraordinary talent we have here in Yorkshire. As we move into September, it’s a wonderful time for people to discover unique handcrafted items, enjoy fresh local food, and connect directly with the small business owners behind the products. Wetherby Market Place provides a gorgeous backdrop for the artisan market, and bringing these traders to the high street benefits the local economy.”

Ben Staves, owner of StavesArt, said:

“We love bringing StavesArt to Wetherby, it is always a highlight for us. There is a real sense of community around the Town Hall on the market day, visitors and local residents genuinely love engaging with local independent makers, hearing the stories behind the artwork, and finding unique pieces for their homes. Wetherby has such a vibrant atmosphere, and we can’t wait to showcase our latest hand-drawn cityscapes to both regular customers and new faces.”
