A PERFECT AUTUMN DAY OUT: LITTLE BIRD MADE BRINGS ARTISANS TO KNARESBOROUGH AND HARROGATE VALLEY GARDENS THIS WEEKEND

As October arrives and transforms North Yorkshire into a landscape of vibrant golds, ambers, and deep reds, visitors and locals alike are invited to experience a weekend of outdoor shopping, stunning scenery, and rich local history.

Two artisan markets will take place this weekend, offering you an autumn day out.Saturday, 3 October sees Little Bird Made and their artisans head to the grounds of Knaresborough from 10am to 3pm. Browse bespoke handmade crafts, art and photography, delicious food and drinks to enjoy as you take in the sweeping views across the River Nidd and the viaduct.On Sunday, 4 October, the weekend continues in Harrogate’s Grade II listed Valley Gardens. Where shoppers can stroll through tree lined pathways as the leaves change colour, meeting independent local makers and enjoying browsing unique crafts, and one-of-a-kind finds, from 10am to 3pm.

Beyond browsing the market stalls, visitors can explore the scenic trails around Knaresborough Castle or wander by the floral displays and woodland paths of Harrogate’s Valley Gardens.
