Jackie Crozier, Managing Director said, “Acomb is a community that truly values its independent spirit. This Saturday isn’t just about shopping, it’s about connecting the artisans who create beautiful products and share them with visitors who appreciate their craft. We can’t wait to see Front Street buzzing with visitors and supporting local Yorkshire artisans.”
Anne Barningham, owner of Barney’s Farmhouse Foods said, “We really love returning to Acomb Artisan Market each month, it’s one of our best and favourite markets we do with Little Bird Made. We have been making homemade preserves and baking for fifteen years and have traded with Little Bird for the last three years. Over the last three years we have seen our business flourish with Little Bird Made and we love trading with them each and every time. We love meeting our regular customers and also welcoming new customers to our stall. See you all on Saturday.”
By choosing to shop small and support local, visitors aren’t just getting a higher quality product, they directly contribute to the local economy and reduce the carbon footprint, which is fantastic for the environment and also for artisans who get to see their products and crafts being enjoyed locally.
