SHOP LOCAL WITH LITTLE BIRD MADE: ARTISAN MAGIC RETURNS TO THIRSK COBBLES THIS WEEKEND
The cobbled heart of Thirsk is set to transform into a vibrant hub of creativity and community this Sunday, 19th April, as the Little Bird Artisan Market returns to the marketplace. From 10am, locals and visitors to the area are invited to explore a curated selection of the finest North Yorkshire makers, bakers, producers and artisans.
The artisan market is a shopping experience for all ages, encouraging people to meet the faces behind the products and support independent small businesses. The market will feature a diverse range of stalls, carefully selected for their quality and craftsmanship including original photography, handcrafted woodwork and unique jewellery, as well as organic skincare, delicately fragranced candles and home fragrance and bespoke crafts.
Organised by Little Bird Made, the artisan market aims to bring a modern twist to Thirsk’s rich market town tradition. By providing a platform for local entrepreneurs, the market helps keep the shop-local spirit alive in the heart of Herriot County.
“Our markets are about more than just shopping,” says Jackie Crozier, Managing Director of Little Bird Made. “It is about bringing people together in a friendly atmosphere, discovering unique goods you can’t find online and also giving the local community a reason to get outdoors, enjoy the sunshine and the spring air and enjoy the surroundings in their beautiful town.”
Khalid Radi, owner of KR Wood Artisan said, “We absolutely love trading in the beautiful market town of Thirsk in North Yorkshire. It is always a friendly, welcoming town and the locals and visitors to the area always support the Little Bird Artisan Market and we look forward to returning this Sunday.”
