AUTUMN FLAVOURS AND SPOOKY FINDS: EXPLORE LITTLE BIRD MADE’S WETHERBY ARTISAN MARKET THIS SUNDAY
Wetherby Town Centre is set to come alive this autumn as the popular Little Bird Made Artisan Market returns on Sunday, 11 October from 10am to 3pm. Gathering a vibrant mix of Yorkshire’s finest independent creators, the outdoor market promises a great day out filled with seasonal treats, unique handcrafted goods, and early festive inspiration.
As October sets in, visitors can celebrate the start of the spooky season with an array of autumn-themed wares. From handcrafted home decor and eerie Halloween crafts, to rich seasonal bakes, artisanal cheeses, and small-batch spirits, the market brings together talented artisans showcasing passion and craftsmanship in every item.
Jackie Crozier, Managing Director of Little Bird Made, said:
“October is such a wonderful time of year for our outdoor markets as the air turns crisp and everyone gets into the autumn spirit. We’re thrilled to bring our wonderful community of artisans back to Wetherby this Sunday 11 October. Whether you’re looking to gear up for the spooky season with handmade decorations, pick up seasonal treats, or get a head start on your autumn wardrobe, there is something truly special for everyone. We always encourage visitors to make a full day of it - explore Wetherby’s fantastic independent shops, enjoy a hot drink as you wander, and soak up the friendly town atmosphere.”
Helen Quinn, owner of Helen’s Hampers, said:
“Helen’s Hampers is still a relatively new business, and Little Bird Artisan Markets have been such a lovely way to get out there, meet customers and become part of the local small-business community. The markets are always so well organised and have such a friendly atmosphere, so I am really excited to be back at Wetherby and to introduce more visitors to the market to my themed gift hampers and Christmas range.”
In addition to shopping local at the market, visitors are encouraged to explore Wetherby’s charming town centre, historic riverside walks, and traditional pubs, making it the perfect family and dog-friendly Sunday outing.
