Bank Holiday Weekend Fun For Little Bird Markets

With the sunny weather set to continue, come along and join Little Bird Made at their artisan markets this bank holiday weekend. Markets will take place in Leyburn on Saturday and then 2 days of fun in Ripon on Sunday and Monday.

This will be the second visit to Leyburn this year for their monthly market in the town. Leyburn is a tradition market town in the North Riding of Yorkshire and the gateway to the Yorkshire dales, which is superb for walking and outdoor lovers. There is plenty of parking, so why not come along and visit the market, go for a walk in the countryside and enjoy some lunch or dinner in one of the local pubs or restaurants. Leyburn has lots to offer along with our amazing line up of traders all eager to meet you and show you their handmade goods and products.

This month Little Birds home town of Ripon is lucky to have not just one but two markets in the Market Square. Ripon is one of Yorkshires most dog friendly places with so many dog friendly businesses along side the beautiful riverside and canal walks, it is a great day out for all four legged families. Just look out for the blue sign on business windows. Of course, our markets are all dog friendly with many pet stalls in attendance with treats and accessories for all sized pets.

Ripon is always a great market for both traders and visitors with a strong army of supporters who come along each month to stock up on their favourite products. The market has a wide variety of goods for all ages from babies to special birthday gifts, and everything in between. There really is everything you can think of from body and skin care, clothing, accessories, home ware and fragrance, art, photography, woodwork and leather goods. Not forgetting our delicious food and drink vendors with cheese, jam, preserves, bakes and cakes, meat, locally distilled alcohol along with our street food vendors with hot and cold drinks and snacks to keep you full and hydrated as you browse the stalls.
