NEW MONTH MEANS NEW MARKETS FOR LITTLE BIRD MADE

The new month of June can only mean one thing for Little Bird Made artisan markets, they’ll be back in Knaresborough and Harrogate for 2 of their biggest markets of the month.

Knaresborough market takes place in the beautiful grounds of the Castle, with stunning views over the River Nidd and walks around the area. There are also lost of independent shops and businesses in the town to support, so why not come along to the market then wander into the town and visit some of the cafés and restaurants for some lunch.

Harrogate is based in Valley Gardens and is a great day out for all the family with all the fun of the park on your doorstep. Why not come along and visit the market and explore the walks around the 17 acres of park, visit the historic building and stunning floral gardens, along with the skate park, crazy golf course and children’s play areas. There is something for all ages even your furry pets to enjoy.

The markets will both be packed full of our amazing traders who love to come along each month and showcase their hand made goods and products. Many of them are sole traders and take on all aspects of the business from designing ang making the products, advertising, marketing, packaging, online orders, accountants and also getting up early at the weekend to set up their market stall. So, it’s not just turning up and selling their goods there is lots of hard work that goes on behind the scenes each day to make the businesses the success that they are and bring their goods to the markets.

Buying an item, no matter how big or small at the market really does support a small business. Whether that’s buying a coffee to wander round, cakes and bakes to take home for tea, candles to fragrance your home, treats for your beloved pets or art, homeware, photography, crafts, clothes, accessories and lots more each purchase is supporting the dreams of that small business and will help enable all the stalls to come back each month!

The markets will take place in the following locations:

Saturday 3 ^rd June, 10am – 3pm, Castle Yard, Knaresborough HG5 8AS

Sunday 4 ^th June, 10am – 3pm, Valley Gardens, Valley Drive, Harrogate HG1 2SZ

All our markets are outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. We also encourage everyone to attend safely, to protect both traders and members of the public.
