HANDCRAFTED GIFTS AND GOURMET EATS: LITTLE BIRD MARKETS RETURNS TO EASINGWOLD AND ACOMB THIS SATURDAY
This Saturday, 11th April, local shoppers and foodies are in for a treat as two of the region’s most popular artisan markets return to showcase the very best of Yorkshire’s independent makers and producers.
From the historic marketplace in Easingwold to the bustling Front Street in Acomb, Little Bird Markets are bringing a double header of artisanal talent, fresh local flavours and community spirit this weekend.
Easingwold is the perfect setting for unique handcrafted jewellery, gorgeous home decor to elevate your living space and handmade crafts including woodwork and original art. The artisan market gives you the perfect opportunity to purchase unique products directly from small, independent traders. The Acomb Flourish & Feast market provides a perfect platform for the community to support independent traders and discover the best of what North Yorkshire’s culinary artisans will have on offer from home bakes, savoury pies and delicious street food to eat on the go.
“Our artisan markets are more than just a place to shop, they are a platform for passionate, independent traders,” says Managing Director Jackie Crozier. “Many of our artisans have successfully turned a hobby into a thriving small business and we are proud to be able to give them the platform to promote their small businesses. The level of dedication is visible in every product on display. When you purchase from our markets, you aren’t just getting something unique, you are helping local artisans achieve their dreams.”
Shaun Vickers, owner of Fine Art By Shaun, said, “My first Little Bird Artisan Market in Easingwold was 12 June 2021, and I have loved trading here ever since. The ease of the set up and friendliness of the visitors along with the vibe of this pretty market town make it a must to trade in and a definite to visit. We can’t wait to see you there.”
