LITTLE BIRD MADE BRINGS CREATIVE SPIRIT AND LOCAL TALENT TO THE HEART OF WETHERBY

Get ready to embrace the best of Yorkshire’s creative spirit. The highly anticipated Wetherby Artisan Market curated by Little Bird Made returns this Sunday, 12th April, transforming the heart of the town into a vibrant hub of local talent.

From 10am, the artisan stalls will surround the historic Wetherby Town Hall, promising a curated selection of the region’s finest makers. Visitors can expect to find a diverse range of artisan stalls showcasing products from locally sourced cheeses, soaps and skincare, art and photography, jewellery, handcrafted cakes and brownies, and stunning home fragrance. The artisan market isn’t just a shopping destination, it’s the gateway to one of the most picturesque views in West Yorkshire.

After browsing the stalls and enjoying live music performed by duo, Winding Roots, make a day of it and explore Wetherby with a stroll along the River Wharfe. The riverside walk offers a tranquil escape, leading you down to the iconic Wetherby Viaduct, providing breathtaking views that define the town’s character. The combination of the bustling market and the serene viaduct walk offers a perfect balance of the perfect Sunday escape.

“We are so excited to bring our artisans to the heart of Wetherby this Sunday,” says Jackie Crozier, Managing Director of Little Bird Made. “Our markets are about more than shopping, they are about bringing people together to support the incredible talent of our artisan traders. We want visitors to the market to make a day of it, pick up something unique at the market, then enjoy that stunning riverside walk and take in the views. It is the perfect way to spend a Sunday in such a beautiful market town.”

Natalie Deeley, owner of The Kandlers Table said, I have been trading with Little Bird Made for a couple of years now and I absolutely love it. I love being able to access so many different locations in Yorkshire and meet different people wherever I go. No two days are ever the same and that excites me and keeps me on my toes. The face to face feedback from returning customers gives me so much joy and fills me up. The artisan community are such special people and so hard working and supportive - I love working alongside like minded amazing people building their dreams.”
