LITTLE BIRD FLYING HIGH IN YORKSHIRE THIS WEEKEND

Stepping into a new month, brings the joy of starting their monthly programme of markets throughout the Yorkshire area and Little Bird likes to start the month with a bang. This weekend will see two of Little Birds biggest outdoor artisan markets set up in the hot tourist destinations of Knaresborough and Harrogate.

With the summer weather here to stay, why not grab a picnic or purchase food from our many providers and enjoy a picnic in the park with family and friends. Each location is based within a beautiful park that has plenty of benches or grass areas for you to bring your blanket and enjoy lunch al fresco with lovely views.

Each market will be packed full of happy traders all waiting to welcome you to the market and keen to show off their products. There is always a mix of regular and new traders so that each market is unique and got a great mixture of goods to appeal to all ages. Many customers attend regularly to stock up on their favourite goods, so whether that be your monthly Brownies to take home for a treat or buying another organic candle when the previous one is just about finished, each market will have it all.

We are always keen to attract new customers and we guarantee you will not be disappointed if you have not attended a Little Bird market before. We really do have some of Yorkshires finest small businesses all in the one place. Rather than scrolling online unsure of the quality or fragrance of goods, you can come along to our market, browse around the stalls, which are all located in the one place and see the goods in person. Also, by shopping in person at one of our markets you are supporting local businesses and supporting Little Birds ethos of shopping small & shopping local. We encourage people back in to towns and not just to shop at the markets, but to shop within the local shops, cafes, restaurants and visit tourist attractions to ensure our local town centre continue to survive.

The markets will take place in the following locations:

Saturday 1 ^st July, 10am – 3pm, Castle Yard, Knaresborough HG5 8AS

Sunday 2 ^nd July, 10am – 3pm, Valley Gardens, Valley Drive, Harrogate HG1 2SZ

All our markets are outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. We also encourage everyone to attend safely, to protect both traders and members of the public.
