LITTLE BIRD MADE BRINGS SPECTACULAR ARTISAN MARKET TO MALTON THIS BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND

The food capital of Yorkshire is gearing up for a celebration of local talent this Bank Holiday Weekend. On Saturday, 23 May, the highly anticipated Malton Artisan Market returns, bringing a vibrant showcase of curated crafts, one-of-a-kind finds, original art and the tastiest street food to the heart of this North Yorkshire town.Curated by Little Bird Made, this month’s artisan market is shaping up to be the perfect bank holiday destination.

With beautiful blue skies, and glorious sunshine set to make an appearance, the historic market place is set to come alive with community spirit and entrepreneurial flair.Visitors can expect a carefully curated selection of independent traders, offering everything from handcrafted jewellery, artisanal soaps and skincare, stunning homeware and beautifully fragranced candles, to chutneys, cheeses and handcrafted bakes. It is a fantastic opportunity for locals and visitors alike to shop small and support the region’s finest creators and local small businesses on the high street.

Jackie Crozier, Managing Director of Little Bird Made said, “We are absolutely thrilled to beheading back to Malton for the start of the Bank Holiday weekend. Our artisans have been working incredibly hard behind the scenes and we are genuinely excited to showcase their unique high-quality goods. With the weather looking spectacular, it’s going to be a gorgeous day out for the whole family. There is nothing quite like the atmosphere of an outdoor market under beautiful blue skies.”

Deb Appleby, owner of Soap and Pamper said, “We have been trading with Little Bird Markets for three years selling handmade soaps, shampoos, gifts and treats. We love working with Jackie and the Little Bird team at their events, which are well organised with a huge variety of stalls selling so many different crafts and gifts. I often end up spending money before I earn it! When Little Bird Markets secured the artisan market at Malton we were very excited as it gave us another opportunity to work with them, as we are based in Scarborough so it is a close location for Soap and Pamper. We can’t wait to be there on Saturday.”

The Artisan Market is a family and dog friendly event, providing a vibrant and fun shopping experience. While you’re visiting, why not take the time to explore Malton’s high street, from boutiques, traditional butchers and award winning eateries.
