LITTLE BIRD MADE BRINGS VIBRANT SUMMER ARTISAN MARKET TO THIRSK THIS SUNDAY

With the summer school holidays in full swing, the Market Place in Thirsk is set to come alive on Sunday 16 August 2026 as the popular Little Bird Artisan Market returns for a vibrant day of outdoor browsing and local discovery.

Running from 10am to 3pm, the monthly market will bring together a specially curated lineup of independent Yorkshire makers, artists, designers, and small-batch food producers. Set against the backdrop of Thirsk’s historic cobbles, the event offers a family-friendly atmosphere where visitors of all ages can enjoy the summer sun, meet local creators, and support small businesses. From handmade jewellery, ceramics, and home decor to artisan bakes, craft preserves, and street food, there is plenty to explore for holidaymakers, locals, and families looking for a day out. 

The popular local radio team from YorkMix Radio will also be joining the market as part of their lively YorkMix Summer Tour. Bringing music, interactive games, and family entertainment, the team will be on-site throughout the day to keep the holiday atmosphere buzzing.
