SPRING INTO LOCAL: LITTLE BIRD MADE BRINGS TOP TIER ARTISANS BACK TO MALTON THIS WEEKEND

This Saturday, 25 April, the vibrant marketplace in Malton will once again host the highly anticipated Little Bird Made Artisan Market. Marking the third visit of 2026, this event continues to cement Malton’s reputation as the “Food Capital of the North”, by bringing a diverse curated selection of high quality crafts, art and local produce to the heart of the community.

Since the start of the artisan market season, Little Bird Made has seen an incredible outpouring of support from both residents and visitors. The market has become a staple for those looking to shop small and also supporting independent business at the market and on the high street, as well as enjoying a unique outdoor shopping experience.

“The support we have received in Malton so far in 2026 has been nothing short of phenomenal”, says Jackie Crozier, Managing Director of Little Bird Made. “Every market feels like a reunion with the community. We are thrilled to be back for our third visit of the year and we can’t wait to show off the incredible talent our traders are bringing this spring and throughout 2026.

”Tim Gomersall, owner of Tim Gomersall Art and Illustration, said, “I'm very much looking forward to the Malton Artisan Market. It will be the first time showcasing my art in this beautiful North Yorkshire town and it's the perfect Yorkshire setting for it. You might even catch me making some sketches during the day. Little Bird Markets always pull together delightful talented creative makers, and I'm sure this will be no exception. See you all on Saturday."

Visitors to the artisan market on Saturday, can look forward to a wide array of handmade goods including original art and photography, locally sourced preserves and handcrafted cakes and bakes, as well as stunning homeware and delightfully scented home fragrance, and the opportunity to meet the makers behind the brand.
