SPRING INTO THE CITY: LITTLE BIRD’S ARTISAN MAKERS BRING MAGIC TO LEEDS THIS MOTHER’S DAY

This Sunday, 15th March, the heart of Leeds will transform into a vibrant celebration of community and local creativity as the Leeds Briggate Artisan Market returns. From 11am, the iconic Briggate will be lined with independent traders, offering a curated selection of handcrafted gifts, artisanal food, and one-of-a-kind treasures.

The market brings together a diverse range of makers, showcasing products from handmade pottery, unique crafts, home fragrance, gorgeous jewellery, original art and children's clothing. With a wide array of sweet treats, home bakes, and world-class street food, the variety ensures there is something for everyone, making it the perfect destination to find a unique gift for the women in your life this Mother’s Day.

‘’Mother’s Day is about making memories, and there’s no better place to do that than in the bustling, creative atmosphere of Briggate,’’ says Jackie Crozier, Managing Director of Little Bird Made. ‘’Our markets aren’t just about shopping, they are about supporting the small businesses that make Yorkshire special. We invite everyone to bring their mums, aunts and grandmothers down, grab a coffee, and discover something truly special and unique.’’

She continues, ‘’Leeds holds a special place in my heart, having lived here for many years. We love coming back each month, and seeing the consistent support from the community makes it special for us to see how much Little Bird grows year on year. We cannot wait to see what 2026 brings for our artisans and Little Bird Made.”

Oscar Chu, owner of Asian street food business, Boar Bite, has this to say on trading in Leeds,‘’We’re incredibly excited to be trading in Leeds with Little Bird Markets.
