SUPPORT LOCAL, SHOP UNIQUE: LITTLE BIRD MADE RETURNS TO LEEDS CITY SQUARE AND BRIGGATE THIS WEEKEND!

This weekend, Little Bird Made are heading to Leeds, for not one, but two incredible artisan markets as they head back to City Square on Saturday, 26 July and Leeds Briggate on Sunday, 27 July, both from 11am.
The heart of Leeds, City Square, will be transformed once again into a bustling artisan village as thirty artisan traders land in this stunning part of Leeds. Shoppers can expect to find a diverse selection of handcrafted goods, stunning art, jewellery and much more. It is the ideal place to find unique homeware, gifts or a little treat for yourself, all while connecting with these talented artisans.
On Sunday, the iconic Briggate high street will be lined with artisan traders as they add a touch of handmade magic to this premier shopping street. The artisan markets showcase the incredible talent and entrepreneurial spirit within the region, offering a refreshing alternative to traditional retail.
‘’We are incredibly excited to bring our artisan markets to both City Square and Briggate this weekend,’’ says Jackie Crozier, founder and managing director of Little Bird Artisan Markets. ‘’The end of July is a fantastic time for people to be out and about, enjoying the summer sun, and we are proud to offer them a chance to support local artisans and to find something truly special. There is a wonderful buzz at our markets, and we encourage everyone to come down and experience it for themselves.’’
Zaitoon Hussain, owner of Especially Scent, a small business producing high quality home fragrance, who will be at City Square says, The last six months of trading has taught us more than years of research ever could have. Never did we ever think it possible to enjoy ‘working’ but here we can see that it is, we were just stuck in the wrong profession. We learn lessons each time we’re on the market, meet the most amazing traders and see the hard work put in by Jackie and her team. We are always open to a new vision and would like to thank the team at Little Bird Markets for all of the advice, tips and help given to us along
our journey. Looking forward to the next six months so we can see the change this year of trading has taught us! Thank you once again. Your littlest bird.’’
Sunflower Creation UK owner Ellis Gurung, has this to say on trading at Leeds Briggate on Sunday, ‘’Sunflower Creation UK has been part of the artisan market community for two and a half years now, and it’s been such an incredible journey. I’ve met so many lovely people, and being part of these vibrant markets continues to inspire me every time. We can’t wait to be back at Leeds Briggate.’’
