DISCOVER NORTH YORKSHIRE THIS SUMMER: LITTLE BIRD MADE ARTISAN MARKETS PROMISE THE ULTIMATE FAMILY DAY OUT IN RIPON AND RICHMOND
This weekend, residents and visitors are invited to explore two of North Yorkshire’s most historic destinations while experiencing the very best of regional craft, food, and art. On Sunday, 26 July, the highly anticipated Artisan Markets are returning to the historic Cathedral City of Ripon and the picturesque market town of Richmond, offering a spectacular, sun soaked day out for all ages.
Running from 10am to 3pm, both outdoor markets will transform their iconic marketplaces into vibrant, bustling hubs filled with independent creators, makers and bakers. The markets are designed to bring the ‘social’ back into shopping. Visitors can chat directly with the passionate local artisan traders, sampling everything from artisan cheeses, handcrafted cakes and bakes, regional ales and small batch spirits, as well as original art, bespoke home decor, and unique jewellery."Summer is the perfect time to get outdoors, support small independent businesses and enjoy our local communities,” said Jackie Crozier, Managing Director of Little Bird Made.
She continues, “Both Ripon and Richmond are absolutely bursting with heritage and charm. We want families to come down, see the incredible talent our artisans have to offer, grab some amazing food, and truly make a full day of exploring these historic Yorkshire locations."
Debbie Howard, owner of small business North Country Pies and Cheeses said, “A good market isn’t just about what you sell, it’s about the people you meet, the stories you share, and the customers who keep coming back. We can’t wait to see you all in Ripon”
Khalid Radi, owner of unique small business, KR Wood Artisan, said, “KR Wood Artisan loves visiting the beautiful and historic town of Richmond. The locals and visitors alike, make us very welcome and support the Little Bird Artisan Market with its range of food, gifts, and home decor.
