HANDMADE ON THE HIGH STREET: LITTLE BIRD MADE BRINGS LOCAL YORKSHIRE ARTISANS TO BRIGGATE THIS AUGUST
Following an incredible July event packed with energy and excitement during the Leeds Pride celebrations, the Leeds Briggate Artisan Market returns this Sunday, 16 August, from 11am to 5pm.
Hosted on the iconic high street Briggate in the heart of Leeds city centre, this month’s artisan market promises another vibrant outdoor shopping experience. Bringing together Yorkshire’s finest independent makers, food producers, designers, and craftspeople, the event offers residents and visitors a chance to soak up the summer atmosphere while supporting local businesses.
Organised by Little Bird Made in partnership with Leeds City Council, the monthly artisan market continues to build momentum as one of the city’s favourite weekend destinations.
Visitors to the market on Sunday can expect bespoke arts and crafts, unique handmade jewellery, ceramic homeware, organic skincare and original artwork, alongside freshly baked goods, small batch preserves, and street eats to enjoy as you browse the stalls and the high street.
“July was an absolute highlight for us, the vibe across the city was electric and the response from visitors was incredible,” said Jackie Crozier, Managing Director of Little Bird Made. “We can’t wait to keep that summer energy going this Sunday. Briggate will be buzzing with talented artisans, delicious food, and fantastic community spirit.”
Patrycja Kokot, owner of small artisan bakery, Butter’d, said, “Butter’d is so excited to be spending one of our August weekends at Leeds Briggate Market! For Butter’d, it’s about more than just baking, it’s about sharing handmade treats, meeting wonderful people, and bringing a little joy through every bake. We can’t wait to welcome you!”
