With a beautiful, sunny weather forecast on the horizon, Richmond Market Place is gearing up to host its highly anticipated monthly Artisan Market this Sunday, 31 May. Organised by Little Bird Made, the outdoor market will transform the town’s historic cobbled centre into a vibrant hub of creativity, offering families the ultimate local day out just before the children head back to school after the half term break.
Running from 10am to 3pm, the artisan market will showcase a curated selection of independent traders from across Yorkshire. Visitors can expect to browse a diverse array of unique handmade goods, including bespoke arts and crafts, ceramics, hand poured candles,photography, clothing and artisanal food and drink.
The artisan market isn’t just an event for visiting traders, it is a celebration of Richmond’s entire trading community. Little Bird Made encourages visitors to make a full day of it by exploring the town’s established high street, filled with independent businesses and charming cafes surrounding the marketplace. With so much to explore in Richmond, from Richmond Castle to Easby Abbey to the stunning Richmond Falls, there is much to explore for all the family.
